Studio clean-up!

I've had a wonderful opportunity lately to clean up my studio, and as a result I've gotten some projects begun and completed. My space is my own again! For too long it was a space the baby couldn't get to, a space we were using only as safe storage, "over the gate". There are still some things to be sorted- fabric and sewing projects, too many books on my tiny bookshelf, etc., but it's getting better and I can use my desk again. It's amazing how inspiring that is. I love that little room.
I've always loved this picture of Trina Schart Hyman's studio. I think it bears some resemblance to my studio, at least in the way she seems to have surrounded herself with things that were useful, inspiring or just unable to be contained... although I don't think Trina and I bear any resemblance at all. And her art was and is so inspiring; she had a talent I admire so much. I am still sad that she's gone.
Anyway, my studio is useful again and things with Juniper are routine enough now that I actually have some time to use it. Woot!
